Data Deletion Instructions

At Use-Me, we respect your privacy and give you control over your data. According to the Facebook Platform rules, we provide these Data Deletion Instructions.

How to Delete Your Data

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data (including inventory, recipes, and usage stats), please follow these steps:

Option 1: Clear Local Data

If you only want to reset your app on this device:

  1. Open the Use-Me application.
  2. Go to Settings via the profile menu.
  3. Scroll to the Data & Privacy section.
  4. Click Clear All Local Data.

Option 2: Permanent Account Deletion (Facebook/Google Data)

To permanently delete your account and remove all data stored on our Release servers (synced via Facebook/Google Login):

  1. Send an email to our Data Protection Officer at info@use-me.ch.
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
  3. Please send the email from the address associated with your account so we can verify ownership.

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Option 3: Remove App via Facebook

You can also revoke our access to your Facebook data:

  1. Go to your Facebook Account's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Look for Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Use-Me in the list.
  4. Click Remove.
